! You should make a new topic with pictures in, that's a pretty important find. I'd also be interested in the Wii dev unit and the proto Game Gear. Looking forward to pictures.

yes i will sort pictures as soon as i purchase my new laptop, i spent my credit card far to much recently, lol and im not bothered about admitting what i have - regardless of who maybe watching ;-)
Sounds like a nice collection - I'm afraid of posting the list of my stuff because I really don't want the headache of pulling it all out of storage and collecting it together in one place to try to photograph it (Oh! for a game room ) Excuse my excitement - but why can't you use whatever computer you're using to post these replies - why do you have to wait for a new laptop? Surely the problem lies in getting the pics from (I presume) a digial camera onto a computer connected to the internet (much like the one that's allowing you to post these replies). How did you manage to purchase the rarer items such as the Wii devkit and the SNES CDROM? I know lots of Assembler members are lucky enough to own really interesting and rare stuff. What's your experience of trying to find this stuff, I'm very interested to hear your story.
im using an old toshiba laptop the hinge on it is broken so the screen doesnt stay up and the connects are all damaged its really really screwed, lol anyway i started collecting 7 years ago i brought the usual suspects off ebay one of my purchases included picking a amstrad 464 with 55 games from a house in surrey, uk when i got there this guy had a massive collection he was planning to get rid of. so i took almost all off him he also have me his contacts including a guy in germany who just started collecting units and had a few he nolonger wanted. snescdrom was in his collection he'd picked it up from a person who worked on the fx chip back in the day. i got the Wii dev unit from a contact in london who managed to work on the controller for it he said he left nintendo to work with another company that i cannot name and did i want his dev unit of course i said yes with it came a slightly different version of wii sports. m2 i picked one up at a bootsale the other i found on a obscure auction website very cheap 3 years ago. thats it really.
Some peple get all the luck... Pics! And seriously, make a new thread with the rarer proto/dev stuff in it, people might skim over a "my collection" thread.
Really looking forward to seeing some pictures of those. Not sure if we can wait to se the suepr nintendo cd test unit so maybe you could tell us a bit about it like if the design is like the concept art.
