okay time to post my collection I guess

first let's start with my games...
    here's the first lot

gunstar heroes japanese cart, streets of rage 2 japanese cart, megaman 2 jp cart, sonic 2 jp cart (I have the sonic 2 jp box as well), mario 3 and mario 2 jp carts.

    next lots...

super metroid jp cart, castlevania dracula x snes jp cart, zelda link to the past jp cart, chrono trigger

chrono trigger jp complete, final fantasy 6 and 4 jp complete, gunstar heroes jp box and booklet

zelda link to the past, final fantasy 4 (titled as 2 because it's the US release), earthbound, super mario rpg

super metroid, teenage mutant ninja turtles 4: turtles in time jp cart, secret of mana, E.V.O.

final fantasy 6 (titled 3 US release), contra hard corps, gunstar heroes (have the box for this one)

streets of rage 2, earthbound zero english translation reproduction cart, turtles 3: manhatten project, super famicom universal sfc/snes cart adapter, adapter that lets me play NES games in my famicom

starfox jp complete, super metroid jp complete, mario world jp complete, zelda link to the past box/booklet, secret of mana jp box booklet, streets of rage 2 jp box booklet

    neo geo MVS games:

neo driftout bootleg, neo driftout legit, world heroes perfect legit, samurai showdown 4 legit, samurai showdown 2 legit (4 is way better)

okay that was fun....now time for some hardware

    tv I play everything on

speakers that everything is hooked into through my amp, also you can see the power bars between the speakers, also has a step down converter for my import systems

supergun I built, game pcb is contained in the big plastic container plugged into the supergun. Supergun pcb and arcade pcbs are firmly mounted to the plastic cases using pcb feet and bolts. So you just push the plastic containers together at the jamma connector and you're ready to go.

sticks that are currently hooked into my supergun. The limited street fighter I swapped out the directional stick with one from a x-arcade. The x-arcade stick has a shorter throw so it's much better.

This's the rgb to ntsc part of my supergun. It has a scart switch so I can switch between what is using it (super famicom, megadrive, or pcbs).

AV famicom box and booklets, super scope, and my backup super famicom, you can never have too many super famicoms

Regular x-arcade stick with a directional joystick from a limited edition street fighter ps2 arcade stick. I swapped the sticks because I liked the shorter throw stick in my supergun stick. PS2 adapter for my x-arcade. Snes model 2

japanese megadrive model 1 (NOT the asian model). my favourite model of the genesis

super famicom and AV famicom. I have official second controllers for both systems, also for my megadrive (all original japanese controllers)

neo geo MVS MV-1F board. 100% jamma compatible, stereo sound wired into a headphone jack from headphone pins on the board. Street fighter 2 world warrior 911101 cps1 PCB. This world warrior revision seems to have no glitches or bugs in the game. kick harness buttons are wired into usb ports.

And the most expensive part of my collection. A ketsui arcade pcb. Well worth the money. But I won't be buying anything else for a while to help heal the dent in my wallet. But don't get me wrong....it was TOTALLY worth the money.

Well I hope you enjoy my stuff. I collect stuff to play it. Not just for it to sit around and look pretty. This isn't my entire collection. It's just the stuff that's harder to find. And I play this stuff a lot more than the commonly found things.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! Gunstar heroes and bare knuckle 2 get sooooo much playtime and love. Making a supergun was not easy, took half a year worth of research, self education, and searching for the cheapest parts possible. And building it caused my electrical bill to go through the roof for one month ^^ As for choosing which cave game to get......as soon as I played ketsui for the first time.....I just fell in love with it. I love other cave games too, but ketsui just stands out from the rest to me. I played other cave pcbs on my friends cab (dodon pachi, mushihimesama, mushihimesama futari). But really ketsui is the one game that I got majorly addicted to (and enjoy getting my ass kicked by!)

wow, love all the variations of Gunstar Heroes! I myself am still looking for a cheap japanese copy XD And am quite jealous of that earthbound snes cart, another game I hope to get someday! Lovely collection!

And I agree on the having games to play part: more often than not if I dont end up playing a title in a long time/dont enjoy playing it, I will usually sell it on. I'm a terror like that! XD

    Great collection!

yeah I think that makes more sense. A game should belong to someone who'll give it love and use. I've passed on many great bargains for games and systems just because it would be something I wouldn't play very often. To me collecting is about true appreciation, instead of making money. Gunstar heroes I picked up off of ebay for 25$ plus shipping. As soon as I did that the price of the next listed one was 10$ higher (happens a lot when I buy something). Honestly though gunstar heroes is worth paying good money for. Earthbound was NOT cheap....but a purely awesome game that I couldn't live without. And thanks for the nice comments! Glad to meet someone who's willing to let go of something to someone who will appreciate it more.

okay time for an update (if anyone cares lol). I went on a fighting game spree recently as I've always been a fan of fighting games. There's more stuff coming in the mail so let's just start with the first new title I have

Rival schools arcade pcb. Man what a fun game! The casing it's in is currently under construction (waiting on some parts) that's why it looks a little messy right now. But I've got it 100% working on my supergun....stereo sound.....kick buttons.....it's all working great. Found it on ebay for what I consider to be a fair price.

Rival Schools is awesome, good buy!

So how is the actual arcade version of the first? I mostly could only enjoy the second one on the dreamcast. Never did play the first, though I reckon it should be mostly what the second one is.

I never tried the second one. And I've never played the home version of either. But the arcade version of the first one is nothing but fun
