My collection (56k stay away). UPDATED! SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDAES! Here is my collection, Sorry for crappy quality. Update: better pics of handhelds
Eph, you probably should have arranged all your stuff into a few photos rather then this behemoth listing.
Yeah I probably should have done that. Thing is that until yesterday I was too lazy to even take the pictures and put tham up here. I have this HUGE mess of controller wires that would take me forever to untangle. Though once I recharge the camera I will upload some better pics of some stuff (same pics better lighting). Anyway I just got a splitter to add to as I like to call it the ultimate SEGA Genesis and fishing controllers to add to my Dreamcast and N64 plus Mega Bomberman for Genesis. (btw the N64 controller was made by mad catz and well the gray plastic thing on the top (in madcatz fasihon) busted after it fell off the seat on the way home) Cosemetic damage but nothing more than that.(THANK (insert diety of your choice)).
I took the time to view each pic! Awesome collection, though I have a question. What is the difference between the grey NES Zapper guns and the red ones?
Nothing other than color. Just got them for the sake of having both. Also the gray one looks a ton better IMO.:110: update: better pics of SNES and NES collections (the one that was just a big shadow), Genesis, player 1 controlers, and player 2 controlers. Expect more pics of stuff I got today by tomorrow (camera is currently charging).
For those who missed my last post: Better pics of NES and SNES, Genesis, Player 1 controlers, Player 2 controllers, and SNES are up. Also I forgot to load the new NES pic so it will be up shortly. Btw thanks for all the comments. Update: New NES pic up. Check for out of order numbers for updated pics.
I read somewhere that Nintendo changed the colour of the NES zapper because the grey one looked too realistic and the police were called because somebody though a kid had a real gun. Although it could just be urban legend.
It's not specificly nintendo, there was a kid who was shot back in the 80's because he was brandishing a toy gun at a police officer. After that, it was illegal to sell a toy gun in the United States without an orange tip on it. Unfortunately there have been recent reports of armed robbers painting real guns orange... so we've gone full circle.
Okay people I moved into a new house and will be posting new pics of my better organized collection as soon as I find the digital camera.
Probably the best way is create a new, publically accessible photobucket Some nice stuff. Dude, have more care over yer stuff though! Just strewn all over the sofa :fresh: hehe
Nice collection! In the very first pic of the handhelds, what is the machine to the left of the Sega Nomad?
