This is my first post on this forum, so a big hello to every one! Thought I'd show you my console collection, I've been collecting for a few years now. All of these are hooked up and ready to play, except the famicom, (knakered! Disk drive is ok though,) and the core grafx. The only one's missing are my gamecube and ps2, which both live in my bedroom, and my MVS which is in surgery at the mo.. At some point I will post my games, although dispite having 300+ there's not a lot there which is that rare, although I do have a mint copy of Zenki.. My pride and joy;-)! http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3438/3912991241_c5c632e6a0_b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2673/3912993551_6bc5b61b07_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3501/3912996637_6e2eb9ce41_b.jpg
Welcome aboard! Very nice consoles! And even better that they are all hooked on the television - instant gaming:thumbsup: You must had fun when connecting all those wires to the TV:icon_bigg
Thanks for your comments! The AV hub is 3x 5 into 1 scart ports, with 3x 10m male to female scart leads. 1 of these runs straight into the back of the panel and the other 2 into a Philex AV Plus Auto Selector. I brought that also in the hope of trying to boost the signal a bit, witch it does, but its still a compromise to using one at a time. It was a mission setting it all up! Glad I done it though..
Lol! Not very high suprisingly enough. My girlfriend works for a big UK energy company and would kick my ass if i left them on all the time!
Damn that's fucking awesome. Excuse my language. That's kind of what I want to do one day, but with RGB SCART. Very nice console shelf.
If you've got a better idea of hooking up 17+ systems to one TV, I'm all ears. Love your website by the way. Very um.. Informative
I like your setup there with your systems a lot. I've also run into the problem of hooking up systems, but my problem is the CRT tv in my game room only has RF so I'm constantly having to reach behind and connect stuff since you can't just chain them all together without getting a terrible signal. Eventually I think I will need to invest in a new tv. Problem is every time I find one that's in my price range it won't work with light gun games.
Hmm... Just a thought, you could try an RF signal amp. Chain them all together like you said, have one output into the amp, and the other into the TV. I've never tried this mind, but RF signal amps are cheap as chips on ebay.
If the only way to play via RGB was by switching cables behind the TV, I'd rather do that tbh. Btw, what has my website got to do with anything - didn't ask for your opinion? Oh well, cheers :katamari:
Nice collection. Welcome to the assembler community. Know what to do next? Show us your games collection
Cheers! I'm working on it, building some shelves opposite the retro setup, as soon as it looks good enough I'll post.
