    and a brief introduction to me.

    I'm 18 years old and have loved gaming ever since I was a child. However, more recently I've begun to look into more obscure items, and things that I missed as a child as my family wasn't particularly wealthy. I found this site a few years ago for the first time when I was looking up PlayStation development consoles, totally not accessible for me but I can dream right? After getting a job more recently I've branched out and started collecting and this is what I have so far. I'm not too big on collecting games at the moment because I don't earn huge amounts of money, and I don't really own any games worth mentioning anyway.

    First of all I have my current consoles being used under my TV. These are a PAL Dreamcast, PAL Falcon 60GB Xbox 360 and a NTSC-J PlayStation 2, which has been chipped.

    Next is my shelves to the right of my door when walking into my room:

    All 3 of those PlayStation 2 have problems, and my PAL Saturn and one of the PlayStation no longer have power boards. One of the PlayStation is Japanese, which is bough specifically to play beatmania GOTTAMIX. Apart from that though all consoles are operation, wouldn't mind a better condition Mega Drive though. :DOH: One of the PlayStation is chipped and so is the white Saturn.

    Next up handhelds and older consoles:

    Master System, NES and Atari 2600 - all original models. Got a few arcade sticks there including my sanwa modded HSS-0136 and my to be modded Dreamcast stick. I have quite a few handhelds, I used to have a lot more Game Boy but I sold the rarer ones as I figured I didn't really need them. DS has Acekard 2i and a GBA flash cart, PSP has 5.00 M33-6. :nod:

    And where I spend most of my time:

    The bedroom. I'm hoping to expand my console collection, and hopefully have most of them set up someday. It's going to be a looooong time before I have my own house so who knows. :shrug:

    So that was just my modest collection, and a brief hi to this great website. :love:

    I like the way everything is out and displayed. Very neat and tidy too.

    I have my own house and have no space to display my shit.

    It's growing nicely though.

    It's gonna be years before I get near that many consoles. As much as I'd like to have them all lol xd

    This sounds terrible, but I haven't actually used it yet. I don't have a stepdown converter yet. :lol:

    I know. :(

    There's a NTSC-J PS2 on eBay I'm going to try and win, that comes with a pretty nice stepdown converter so that should do.

    Preordered beatmania IIDX Empress ya see, need a PS2 to play it. My slim white PS2 is japanese, but it scratches backups so I'm not putting a real game in there.. Especially not a £53 game. ;_;

    It's DC I think, don't have the right adaptors though. I'd rather just buy a stepdown tbh.

    Yeah exactly, and I could put my jp saturn power board back in my model 2, so my EU model 2 isn't dead anymore.
