My Dreamcast collection, its a good one. :D

nah see now thats a very very good collection - if you posted like this from the get go we all would have been much happier - awesome stuff. i have an ok DC collection as well but NOTHING on this. awesome stuff owning this much for possibly the best console to ever come out. with my DC collection its mainly just the RPGs, Fighters and Shmups...but yeah awesome stuff

 

Hehe, don't worry. I think it is not solely rarity that makes a good collection. I think condition of items, completeness, time spent collecting and other things should count, too.

Very impressive- I'm quite jealous in fact. I've always loved the style of the Dreamcast.

 

Very true Adam the cases on Pal were quite a good design on some games but the fact they broke so easy was a huge issue and if Sega had just followed the CD design case they did with the Japanese I actually think the DC might have done a little better in the UK as daft as it sounds. My friend who works at gamestation said they had to order new cases from Sega all the time as they broke that easy which made things difficult.

Still I love the Japanese style casing for the Dreamcast. Heck I just love the Dreamcast full stop. Truly an amazing system that was way ahead of its time.

 

Surely the PAL cases were so big due to the masses of languages covered in the manuals, vs the JP and US manuals being only in 1 language (2 at most for US).

 

True but they could have still gone with a CD case design or even the DVD style the Japanese independent releases did. Would have been better than the shoddy design they chose for Pal releases. Actually can't count how many of mine have broken and I'm really careful with my games for it.

More stuff (quantity) or rarer stuff (quality). Even better, both.
