    Thanks. I've paid ~10-15 USD.

Question about the US sports DC: Can the Sega Sports logo be pealed or scraped off like the Dreamcast swirl logo on the lid? Or is it printed on the plastic like the Windows CE logo?

I kind of want to pick up one of these models, but I'd only do it if I could just make it look like a black DC without the sega sports logo.

it's printed like sega or wince logo.

i have no idea how to remove it from the case. maybe some chemicals do that clearly

In that case, maybe sugar cubes, or a little baking soda and water would do it. Nothing too caustic (like fingernail polish remover) because that would melt into the plastic too much. I'm still wary though because the logo looks really big, and I remember the DC's plastic case isn't entirely smooth but has little bumps on it I think? I wonder if the sugar or baking soda would rub off the logo, but make the plastic look smooth there, and so it would stand out...

    Sugar trick is so interesting.

You right, DC's case has little bumps. But top of the case, made of smooth plastic. I watched the sugar method's video and I think it's make scratches on the case. It will be sensitive for sugar method.

I just bought a sports DC on ebay. When it comes, I'm going to try a few ideas I have to take the logo off.

True, as is every other piece of sega hardware. Nevertheless, it is not a rare or particularly valuable (I bought mine for $19) piece of hardware and I don't feel any regret or remorse for planning to rub the logo off. I'll make a new thread about this when I give it a go when it arrives, since this is getting off topic from several's collection.
