It tops out at 170, and I've had it up to 150 now, for a good ten minute stretch.

The car is geared towards bottom end, so the gearing sacrifices top speed.

Being quick is fun too, don't forget that. I loved it when I had a truck that could launch off the line really quick (faster than most drivers would think), but would only get up to around 100. With the 2500 stall it would spin through most of first then chirp second if I was really on the gas.

The Mystichrome Cobra is freaking awesome. What year is it, 96?

So, did you really get caught by an unmarked police car?

Well the helmet it to keep me brains off the concrete, and properly inside my skull. You try driving at 140 mph for 5-10 minutes and tell me how you feel about helmets when you're done.

LOL I know man, I'm just giving you shit. I ride a bike (moter) I know it's necessary man. At 150, you lock up (or I do) and don't want to move. Straight is good :)

LOL. I don't know, Assembler, but aren't you on the chubby side? I couldn't tell exactly from the video, but I remember a pic you posted long ago with you posing in front of the Acclaim sign holding up a dollar.

He's American - he has an excuse :). The few of us who aren't a bit on the chubby side are genetically lucky. I'm actually on the other end of the scale - I can't hold any fat.

The video was pretty interesting. My car-oriented buddies sure liked it.

Sir, it is because I am what I call fat, and that is why it makes me smile to hear the word chubby :)

sounds like a typical day on a german autobahn =), is there any way you can drive it full at us highways or are you limited to racetracks?

my last car was limited to 155mph =( open it would have gone 170mph

Wasn't me in the pic. Nah, I'm not fat.

I don't eat fast food unlike most americans, a good portion of what I eat is
vegetarian or chicken. I don't eat candy, drink more than one soda when I dine out (only time really). I don't eat dessert or use anything but skim milk.

I also have an ulcer, those tend to keep you nice and thin, like malaria :smt023

Wearing a helmet while driving sounds like a good idea! I like it!

I think Assembler has me on ignore or something, because every time I ask him a question in a thread, he never answers.
