I think that my FTP has gone down after installing XP. I can connect to it from my PC but I'm unsure if anyone else can since the log shows up blank. Can a few of you guys try to connect to it using this login.

    IP - segagagadomain.serveftp.com/
    LOGIN - RetroCore
    PASSWORD - kikugawa
    PORT - 21

    Thanks

    Yakumo

Nothing for me. Traceroute'd it with Visualroute, seems your dynamic ip naming thing (segagagadomain.serveftp.com) responds to ping:

So I'm guessing it's something to do with your ftp software setup.

Go into "My Network Places" and check and if needed disable the Windows firewall on the network card/ADSL as it blocks FTP by default.

well rather than turning off the firewall change the settings to allow exceptions and set up ftp (tcp port 21) to be allowed. you should find this firewall settings in the "security center" if you installed service pack 2.

Cool :smt023 thanks for the help guys. :drinkers:
I find things run a lot quicker with XP and even my internet access speed is faster :smt045 Maybe this means downloads from my FTP will pick up too.

Downloads (at least with that login) are capped at 15 kb/s - I tried it :-D
