Hello all. I have one of the Pansonic FZ-35S models and have been looking for the FZ-21S version. Can anyone help out in pointing me in a possible direction? I have the Chevy kiosk software for the 35s, but no other of the proto game software (which if I have read correctly might only be able to play on the 21s). Any help you can provide is appreciated. Thanks.
Heh, I just scored an original Konami Total Vice arcade game disc for $9.99 on Ebay... I know there's no way to run it on my FZ-35s (especially without the light guns and such) but I'm wondering what tinkering with my M2 Mac development setup will reveal...
Yep. You must be talking about f*l!x. I'm not sure what to believe. He's definitely a very bright guy, but I've talked to him several times about development stuff, and never received one piece of code. I guess he just isn't a person that works to extend a development community. There almost appears to be a big issue with many of the Russians (I think I heard f*l!x was Russian) and the 3DO scene.
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Is there any way we could work out a deal to get at least a copy of the manual? Mine did not come with it and I am dieing to read what was actually in the included in it. Any type of electronic scan would be great and I would be happy to compensate you for your time. Thanks again for your consideration.
I can give you an image of the M2 Toolkit v3.0 if you provide me with an address to FTP it to -- I think I sent you the v2.7 image the same way some time ago in exchange for some M2 arcade game files (or it was someone else in this forum).
Stay tuned - I have to get the CD out of storage first, and create the image file. As soon as it's done, I'll send you a pm with the exact size.
Well, I got the CD and created the image for ya, Windowskiller (it's in ISO format.) I'm attempting to upload it to you now. It's 317MB total. Send me a PM with the ftp address, and I'll send it your way. Happy Tinkering!
Heh, just got my "Total Vice" CD in the mail today (pristine condition too, if I might add.) Of course, without the actual konami arcade hardware there's nothing I can do with it, but it's a nice M2 collectible nevertheless...
I have a really boring kiosk software that runs on both, but it's got a tiny footprint and is really just a glorified dvd.
For what it's worth, all of the Konami arcade games (except Polystars) are in Youtube, so you can see what M2 games actually look like (I think they're being played on a development system, not an FZ-35 or Konami M2 hardware...)
