So today was my birthday, and it went pretty well... however I think the best part about it was that my girlfriend bought a copy of the Gamecube version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for me :icon_bigg What an awesome birthday present, and to me (a true Zelda fan), nothing can be cooler than having one of the most anticipated games of the franchise released on my birthday (yeah, I'm nerdy... so what :110: ). Anyway, I love my girlfriend... she's frikin awesome!
Happy Birthday buddy. Seems like you have a nice girlfriend . Great game as well, can't wait to get home tomorrow and play it. Last final tomorrow(Calc 2!).
Happy Birthday and what a lucky bugger you are having a girl friend that buys you games and good games at that ! Yakumo
Thanks everyone :icon_bigg Hey, I have a Calculus 2 final today too. It's also my last final, then I'm heading home for the Christmas vacation!
lol, lucky guy. My wife ignored my request for a DS-X for xmas and got what SHE wanted to get me instead (briefcase).
My girlfriend, her brother, and I, stood in line on launch day (not much of a line in my city, though) to get her brother's Wii. She's completely addicted to Zelda. It seems like Zelda is some sort of ancient tradition at her house. They've played every game to the last pixel. She knows LTTP and OOT pretty much by heart. She wants a triforce tattooed on her hand. Indeed, mister Workshop, having a girlfriend who knows about games, especially Zelda, is tremendously awesome. This vacation, I shall show her the goodness that is Breath of Fire V.
Irony!! What did you guys cover in yours? Did you at all do series, like Taylor and Maclaurin series? Oh man, I hated those at first. Hard concept to grasp.
Speaking of class I also had my final exam yesterday for my Physics W/ Calculus. More like Physics with a lil bit of Calculus 2 and a bit of Calc 3. Happy Bday AWS
Ouch, that sucks... was it at least a nice briefcase? Nah, we had already covered Taylor series before our final. In fact, our test before our final exam was over Taylor and Fourier series. I actually thought those concepts were fairly easy to grasp, and I really kind of enjoyed those sections the most (well, besides the first section which was all integration, my favorite bing partial-fraction decomposition). Um, I really enjoyed my Calculus II class, and what made it even better was that I took it alongside my Discrete Math. :icon_bigg So, our final in Cal II was actually two parts. The first part being over a section of differential equations (we covered the chapter the week before finals week), and the other part being an optional comprehensive final covering all material from start to finish, which was an effort for some folks to replace a low test score, if they did well enough on it. I asked my professor about it, and he said that the comprehensive part was full of "vulcan death" problems, or as he likes to call them, V.D. Specials  I didn't bother with it, because I already had an A in the class anyway, and I thought the final was easy enough. You are correct sir! Though, my GF doesn't really know a lot about video games, she knows me well enough to know what I like :110: She also doesn't have any problems with me playing/collecting games, which is also great. I'm actually hoping to get her interested in playing video games again, but it'll be a slow process. Anyway, I think it's cool that you've got a girl that really enjoys video games, especially a series like Zelda! Nope, I didn't get the new Nintendo system for my bday. It's all good though, because I still have many games to finish on my GC and XBOX! Thanks for the bday wishes everyone!
My wife is a contender for the most cool title lol - Despite having very little initial interest in games consoles, she is now able to rattle off different models, versions and games titles. I no longer have to explain anything as she has heard me discussing this stuff with friends and asked me loads of questions through the years. She just comes out with stuff like "Oh, yeah is that SDK or XDK" or "Wow, that looks neat, don't you have a debug version of that console somewhere?" Simply nothing could be finer than a soul mate that not only looks good, loves your sorry little nerdy ass, but also knows the correct terminology regarding consoles. Heaven! Oh, happy b'day by the way - hope it went well!
Thats awesome. Happy Birthday, by the way. Speaking of TP, it seems like its going to be a pretty nice long game for me, too. I'm about 7 hours in and finished the 1st dungeon and now I'm in Kakariko. I can't wait to play it some more!
Dude my birthday was the past 26 of november and nobody said anything!OH: You guys are soooo out of my xmas card list:fresh:
Yeh. I didn't see your name on the Bday list on the site, nor did I see Alien's name, too. But mine was there and nobody said anything
