Very nice collection, theres just something so appealing about gamecube games over the ps2/xbox ones. Its so tempting to collect for the cube but when you look into it there was an awful lot of crap released for it, sports and movie tie in games etc, looks like your sticking to the quality releases though :)

Do you plan to continue collecting, and dare I say it going for a full set?

funny you said that. i have finished the first one and started playing origins recently, 20+ hrs into it. so far i'm liking it, especially the fact that it's a prequel. the FMV intro isn't as fancy, recycled graphics from the first game, mostly minor improvements, but there was no need to change much anyway, as the first game was pretty solid

    sorry didn't see this :/

    thanks,
i am planning to continue, bought wario world and proper mario golf (i only had player's choice)

don't think i could afford to go for a full set.. let's say for the moment i'm only after titles i think are worth having

baldur's gate, beyond good and evil are the one's i'm trying to get next
harvest moon magical melody (another never released in eu/au)

yeah, i agree. you know it's never too late to start :p

I was actively collecting before, but it was competing too much for my wallet with my ongoing master system collection. I sold off quite a few of the valuable games like Metal Gear, Star Fox Assault etc.
I still have around 80 or so games though, not all classics like you mind, some real duds in there like Bad Boys 2 and Universal Studios!

Just noticed something - that Resident Evil 4 you have with Leon on the cover, where was that released? its not the regular US release is it.

And I couldn't resist taking my cube games off the shelf too:

    thanks for posting your collection,
you still have quite a few good ones!!!
Ikaruga, Doshin the Giant, Geist... should get them too :)

what's the name of the Japanese game underneath the Freeloader disc?

RE4 Bonus Disc from the Australian Collector's Edition (DL-DOL-D4BU-AUS)
not rare at all.. but i guess it's worth mentioning that there aren't that many AUS region gamecube games, majority bear the EUR mark.. so i do try to get my hands on any AUS that i come across

I recommend getting Beach Spikers, its classic Sega arcade goodness.
Are there any other Australian exclusives out there?

The Japanese game is One Piece Treasure Battle, I really liked the anime, so had to get a game of it. Several other One Piece cube games were released in the US, I'll probably get those too sometime.

    Nice collection mate

I still love the GC and kinda wish I hadn't sold off almost all of my collection.

You seem to have more or less all of the good titles covered now; time to start buying some crap I think..... I'd start with all the movie linked games ;-)

    thanks mate :)
well you could start again, the GC games are quite cheap in the UK ;) (judging by the prices on eBay)
heh, you are right. maybe i should stop altogether. i'm running out of space on my shelf :)

if you have photos of your GC collection please post them, it'd be interesting to see what you've kept
