Nice stuff - how near are the pal games to completion? It looks pretty close to me (Isn't it about 50 or so IIRC?)
Megacd Hello, Nice collection!!! I see that you have the little Mega CD demo CD that was only available in France (I'm pretty sure), it had sound demo of sega cd music and some (crap) french songs. It was given with a magazine called Mega Force. You had a guy commenting the sounds of games and tell how great it the mega cd is, it was a bit pathetic when I think about it now, but when this cd was out in 1992 I was like 14 and was pretty amazed indeed. I noticed you also had a sealed copy of Sol Feace :smt023 we can never get enough of Sol Feace!!! Sabre
There's 98 altogether including the 4 32X/CD games, but not including variations or the two Good Deal Games aftermarket releases.
I still have that metal tin from Mean Machines Sega, and some of the cards! Damn nice collection, I have been tempted for ages to go for a semi-complete set of MegaCD games for ages, but I find I lose interest in a console when I hit a certain amount of games, like with the Saturn and Dreamcast...
mega cd hi thank you all for the kind words! Im missing 49 games :smt022 in total, which make up 34 titles im missing and 13 variations and then the two unoffical relaeses. So there is along way for me to go yet, I have hit a problem and that is ive now run out of money, so looks like i may have to sell some of my other machines to fund my habit. And sabre470 i didnt know where the small disc came from till just when i read your post so ive learnt something new. I did get the disc from a guy in france and i agree the music is crap lol. And i have two of them metal tins. One has lost its shine over the years and the other has not maybe thats down to never being opened. I belive that mean machines gave away more cards in issues that followed, but not sure about that.
Yeah I think they did do more cards, my tin corroded within a few day's of opening, it is still perfect inside, but the outside corroded like crazy... they should have turned the metal the other way around!
Wow, really nice collection. I recently started building a Japan-only Mega CD collection, but needless to say it pales in comparison to yours. Which ones are missing? Probably Shadowrun, Keio and Sily Lip. :-D Got a link?
How many titles do you have?? If you have a picture post it. I like seeing the jap versions so many strange games and the quality is far better than the pal versions. Im really pround of my sealed jap copy of fatal fury special.
