I've meant to put these for some time but never get around to it. So last night I decided to take few snap shots so you guys can see what this title looks like in game... :smt023 this title require the XLIVE headset plug'd into your pad before starts as it won't work without one... also it's in Japanese only which limit its appeal to western palyers some what... Hope you enjoy the screen shots... actual shots are much sharper but I had to compress at 30% quality to reduce their size... :smt022 cheers
it's probably in 480p on 16:9 Plasma screen. I'm not sure whether game is in 4:3 and the screen is stretching or it's 16:9... seeing the picture I believe the game is in 4:3 and my screen is stretching the image... :smt022 I took the shot using one of my old SONY 3MP digicam and shrinked in size so I can u/l. The original file size was 2mb each! anyway, this is kind of simulation where you teach new prototype PA robot via communicating with XLIVE headset... cheers
Well this game is a obvious rip off of wonder project by enix, however instead of using a bird to guide the character, you use your voice to guide it, its a shame this never came out here in the U.S. , I can only imagine how much money they lost making this game.
just confirmed NUDE is 4:3 at 480p. The above screen shots are stretched image to fit on 16:9 screen - you can tell from the first schoot where last character is oval rather than circle... :-D I'm used to this stretching after three years of watching on my Plasma screen so it rarely bothers me now...
we've been using Plasma screen as our main TV for last two years so we are used to the stretched images... at first it bothered a bit but soon you'd adjusted to and then you'd hardly notice 'em. In strict term ours is not stretching but rather panorama which leaves the centre at the correct ratio and gradually stretching towards both ends... it still involves stretching but not as extreme as normal stretching... besides our FTA digital TV shows enough 16:9 materials so it's no big deal... cheers
Bah! Can't stand widescreen and all it's bullshit myself. You can't beat a good 'ole square box for non-deformed imagery :smt033
Word. Widescreen, Plasma, LCD whatever.....it's all bullshit to me compared to a square tube. Shame Sony stopped making proper TV's, ours is from the last range of square screens :smt067
with the space at premium at our house Plasma was the only option at that time. We couldn't have bulky RPTV nor projector mounted at the ceiling. At the end wife decided Plasma looks nice with modern deco she had in mind - and offered great deal. We do have square tube TV that we put in the guest room but soon will replacing with either LCD TV or smaller Plasma TV... after watching widescreen for few years now I can't stand square tube really.. heh cheers
I'm with you. I don't see myself living where space is not a premium any time soon, so it'll be flat screens until then.
You can set up games so they play like they're on a normal "square tv." The sides are letterboxed, but it's not too bad. Games like Halo 2 look pretty ace on an LCD though. :smt023
another unintended bonus is you can hang the screen on the wall so baby cannot touch nor topple it over. my daughter is already poking/pushing/hitting things around house. I don't mind her doing that except when she's trying to push/topple big items - and babies do have surprising amount of strength. She even picks up hardcover novel I was reading and it was rather heavy... cheers
