Well it has definitley been awhile since I have posted here. But I have been busy working on a web site for me and a friend of mine that I build barstool racers and mini choppers with (my other hobby other than collecting). Anyway I was hoping maby some of you could check it out and let me know what you think of the new site as the old one went down for awhile when my host upgraded and I lost the first version. Check out the photos to see a few of our machines and the downloads to see a few videos of me on the half complete mini chopper we built this week (just a frame and motor pretty much). http://www.ssc.mywebhut.com
Naa I just tried it and yep your right its not working. Seems the host is up and down at the moment. They just upgraded the servers and seem to be having some down time here and there. O well just try again some time Yakumo, not much I can do on my end
Working here now Those barstool racers look scary!! Yakumo, I doubt it... I'm within 20 mins of Oldengineer! If he's on NTL too, we'll be using the same proxy server also!
Holy f'ing shit, when I saw the thubnail pics I thought you were using barstools as roll cages for go carts. Now I see correctly, wow.
I always thought those barstools were pretty damn cool. To comment on the site, it's nice. It's not crowded with a bunch of needless crap and navigation is easy. Using darker colors is also a plus to me, because its easy on the eyes. The only thing I see wrong is your logo is kind of blurry, but that should be an easy fix.
Thanks for the feed back. The slowest we have built tops out at 30kms and the fastest is at 36km. Not all are on the site yet. We could get more out of them buy gearing it differently, but it stresses the motor more and wont last as long. As for the mini chopper it does about 44kms. But the one we are working on now will have twice the hp. The top logo is blurry cause the site auto scales it to fit so it messes it up a little. Just need to resize it properly.
