Hi this is my newest Gamecube Modding project - solder a selfmade Xeno - LED Controller Port in green and blue - paint the XCM Viper Case Copper orange
love the led's i plan on getting a gamecube to mod soon, and ps2 on the way. 2 consoles i never payed much attention to as i never had them myself the 1st time around.
that's pretty gnarly. Good job. Real curious how you put LEDs in the controller ports http://retro-hack.blogspot.com/2012/12/playing-backups-on-gamecube-making-your.html XenoGC has been open source for a while now
Superb work! Have a look here, looks like there's a batch in stock - http://www.assemblergames.com/forum...elopment-items&p=682524&viewfull=1#post682524
Ports are rather small are they not? It's most likely a 3mm LED glued into place, then a wire is ran to the fan power source. That's my theory anyway
Or surface mount and using controller power source (3.3V) with a small current-limiting resistor. That was my initial plan but seeing that this guy already did it I would take his advices on how he did it properly.
