I just started collecting again. About 2 years ago me, my wife and are two kids where about to be homeless so I had to sell off everything. Well Where back on are feet and i have started again so this is just the few things I have picked up in the last week or two. So it's nothing to great but I'll get there lol Started filming videos and posting on youtube about pickups and my collection check them out here is my channel http://www.youtube.com/user/LinksHideout/videos So I moved all my pictures in my photo site. Big edit and everything is where it goes now Atari DreamCast Gameboy Gamecube Sega Genesis N64 Nes PS1 PS2 PSP Saturn Snes There is a bunch of stuff missing I will be updating latter
skarpo01 - My Blockbuster cart has Espn speed world still on it. The ones i been seeing I don't think have anything on there's. I got a gamebit coming in the mail in the next couple days so I can open it up and get some more pictures HCK - Yea I know I also want to pick up a 32x, Sega CD, and Saturn soon also. Did a run out of town and picked up a ton of stuff for 35$ here is some pictures Some of the games are not in the best shape but I'll sell them on amazon and buy some more stuff
Nice collection X3R0102, keep up the good work and welcome to the gaming mad community:thumbsup: Question: are most of your consoles boxed?
Yea i have few boxes but there put up some where ill have to pull them out and get some pictures also
The oblivion poster with the knight looks sick, love it! Were these given to you by an employee of a game store or you had to pay for them?
I worked at Blockbuster for about 2 years and would get them when they came up for trash. I would have a lot more but another guy working there was getting them two.
Did some runs today and yesterday this is what I picked up First I picked this up in a one thrift store on my way in to town. I only stopped since I never seen the place before. Walked in they had this in the glass case for 30 *note - They are not my photos I left them in the car and let my wife take it to work Ill take updated pictures latter* I also pick this stuff up for a grand total of 35 between 3 places. The ps1 was only 3.50$ funny thing is they also had a og xbox and they where asking 100$ when i asked why she said we had a xbox before and sold for 100 I tried to explain that it may of been a 360 but it was all good plus I dont think she understood
I would advise you have 6-12 months worth of money to cover all expenses in case there is some problems. As much as I like games, I would advise thrift over spending too much....
Big Update Kinda Well I been real busy lately with computer repairs. I guess with back to school going on and stuff people want there computers fixed so I have not been able to get around and pick up some new stuff, but here and there I pick up some more stuff. Got some really good deals I think. So this is the past two weeks in one post. Today I had some pick ups out of town so I stopped in a few shops I got all of this for 15$ Also with the 15$ deal I also picked up some mystery Carts. I have not checked them yet maybe latter today or tomorrow. I like picking them up if the price is cheap. It's always fun to play the guessing game who knows what they are. Even tho 75% of the time there sport games lol. Ill make a post about them when I figure it out. Well moving back about 6 or 7 days to what i think is the best deal in some time I got. Picked up all this for 8$ Yea the sega works I been looking for one for some time. Came with one controller and a power cored no video but lucky I had one. I was also looking for a gamecube for some time at a good price most of the time I find them for 30 or higher. Then about close to 2 weeks ago a customer gave me a box of games since they seen i collect them. Nothing to great but a box of games for free is a box of games lol who could say no?
A busy last few days picked up some rare games by traveling out of town Thursday. Then on Sunday I stopped at a flea market everyone has been telling me about, and then Monday I found some thing on Craigslist. All in all I think it was a good week. Plus I have not picked anything up in about a week so it was cool to pick some more stuff up at great prices. Thursday I hit some pawn shops and this is what I picked up. Pawn Shop One I picked up two sega saturn games and a game gear game all for 8 Dollars Pawn Shop Two I was kinda getting tired of not finding anything all day so I was about to go home. On the way out of town I seen the 2ed pawn shop I would buy games from. He had a bunch of nes, snes and N64 games. I picked up 3 games here for 13. 10 for the N64 games and 3 for the snes game Bad fur day for 5$ I was really happy about that the funny thing is he told me he could not sell me Mario 64 and Mario cart cuz he had to look up the price before selling them. At pawn shop 2 he tells me he has another store down the road a little bit and he has a ton more games so I go check them out Pawn Shop 3 Here I find a ton more games and I pick all this up for 24$ I found this funny also since they sold the Marios with out looking them up. I payed 15 for the Atari and the rest on n64 games. Now I just need to fine a Atari power cable. lol Sundays Flea market Trip Well I had a friend tell me about this place so I went and checked it out. I wish I would of took pics since I dont think anyone will trust me when I say it was in the middle of the woods. Yes in the middle of the woods. When I seen this I was going to turn around and go home since I dint think anything out in the middle of the woods would have good games, but I walked around anyways and found all this for 25 The gamecube came with 12 games and all hook ups and one controller for 10$. i could not walk away then another guy sold me both snes and 3 games for 15. Once again I could not walk away Mondays Craigslist Well I jumped online today and saw a post that said games for sale 60$. So I clicked it and there was nothing in side just said I have games. I emailed the guy asking if he could give me a list of what he got before taking the chance he sent me a pic of a bin full of games. So I took a chance and picked this up for 60$ Some really good games here and one or two I needed for my sets. I was happy with this. There was also a ton of hookups, tons of controllers, 2 super joys systems, n64, and ps2 got to get some pics soon I feel i did really good this week a little bit over 100$ but its been slow around here and have not been finding anything.
That's a nice haul for $60. I always wanted one of those 4 player adapters for the NES but never found one when I was a kid. Too bad there aren't many games that support it.
