My TV is fairly old and as such its got no Audio Video Cables

    So I have a RF modulator set-up.

With a cable going from the TV to the RF modulator

So recently, that is on sunday. I wanted to try and get the hockey game on my TV that has no cable. So I bascially fiddled. I tried to move the Unit around to try and get the picture clearer.

-I also tried unplugging the cable from the RF modulator at one point and just moving the cable around.

Since then the "blue" on light doesn't seem to work.

-I've tried tightening the connection of the cable
    - I've tried powering the TV and the RF modulator off for half and hour

Still no "blue on" light. and as a result my Wii that is plugged into it ain't working

I can get the light to flash for a second if I change the socket its plugged into. But, like I said it only flashes clue for a second and even then the games console doesn't appear.

The RF modulator is only like 3 months old and its a Nexxtech.

The TV itself seems to be working

any suggestions on what I should do?

If its power LED isn't on, chances are pretty high it's the unit that's blown. If it's only three months old, take/send it back to wherever it came from and see if they'll offer a replacement.

As with any situation where there's multiple devices, though, testing components independently is the only way to know what's actually wrong. Try another RF device on the TV, try the modulator with a different A/V source, and try the Wii on a different TV. My money's on the modulator unit, anyway.
