Ok, so years back, I bought a SEGA Gigabyte Disc recordable on ebay because I thought it was a cool pice of history. It has sat in perfect condition in a CD-case ever since. Although it looks super cool, it would be awesome to have a BETA or unreleased game on it as mines blank.

Is there anyway to burn an ISO to is using a Katana? If so, would anyone that owns one be willing to do that for me? I have a SCSI GD-ROM but it's a reader not a writer.

If this goes against the rules of the forum, please be nice but if not, this would be awesome.

No. We had someone who did this and sold fake protos, he was banned and is currently outcast and shunned by the community.

I could understand selling dev disks as fake protos being frowned upon but if I just want one disc for myself is that a bad thing? Tons of people have betas burnt on CD-R and DVD-R to enjoy for themselves. Is this any different? Think of the tons of Sonic X-treme videos all over YouTube.

EDIT: fixed typo forgot the word "have"

GD disks are a precious commodity, never sold to the public and long out of production. Using them today is for circumstances a CD very seriously won't do.

Yeah, that I could understand. I wonder if anyone would want to trade a common beta for my blank disk? Probably not a fair trade... although these blank discs look like they go fro ~$50 on ebay. I mainly just want something cooler to display than just this blank disc and I don't want to write on a blank disc. Probably sounds slily. I have it on my wall in my game room amongst other things.
