don't know what you're really talking about. To me its not that expensive or hard to find. Paid $60 for it CIB on ebay this year actually. I've got other stuff I consider more rare and expensive that I've yet to show.

Well the seller didn't know it's current value then. Retro game prices here are going up and up. I just paid 5000 yen for Tutles on the Mega Drive which is reasonable and another 2000 yen on gairies which used to be ultra common and cheap but now..... Hold on to your retro games.

Instead of making a new thread here about my collection I feel that updating this one would be better.
Recently got a nice shelf from a yard sale and just finished getting it set up this morning.
    Here's the new setup:

Sorry for potato quality here, my picture taking skills aren't that great anymore.
Edit: Here's some better close up photos:

Kind of a crazy story. Originally I bought just the cart back in 2006 for about $75. Jump ahead to about six months ago when the owner of the local gamestore called me up about how some guy came in with a trash bag full of game boxes and left it on the table. I rushed down there a got a couple good GBC system boxes but, the owner got first dibs which is fair enough. That Earthbound box just happened to be the only thing he wanted out of all the boxes and used it as trade bait on me. Ended up trading a mint FF 9 and a CiB Golden Eye for it. He knew the value of it but we're also really buddies and he really wanted to play some ff 9.
This is also the same store my friend got his prototype of Rockin Katz on the nes from.

Not sure if you can tell but two of those gamecube demo discs are still sealed.
Also got this pic here from a few months back of my nes collection (and vhs/dvd), still pretty much the same today.

Here's some photos of some import stuff and Boxed nes games:

I got it three years ago for $55 on fleebay in box with the manual. Wish I had the poster but it's not that important. I can't believe that not even three years ago just the cart was hardly $20~30 and now demands $100+.
Also: More love for pokemon xd:

Picked this up at a game store in Wisconsin last year on a road trip with a few buddies.

The prices on retro gaming have been skyrocketed in the past couple years. I remember getting my Pocky Rocky 2 CIB for $80 3-4 yrs ago and I thought it was expensive. It's now going for $400-500

Funny how a sealed copy around the same time sold for about a $200 bid. Now people are willing to shell out well over double that. Anyway it's nice to see you were able to get copy of the second game. It'd be nice to pick it up sometime but if prices keep going in the direction they are going I don't see it happening anytime soon.

I picked up the 2nd game because I love the first one. I was a bit hesitation on the price back then but my gut telling me that "It's pocky rocky, it must be good". lol. Still very happy to have that game in my collection. Great Collection BTW :D
