i always like to get everything out every now and then to compare how much its grown since its last picture, but these pictures always end up out of date very fast, already got like 6 new boxed games, i have also got to the point where i cant get a picture with all the consoles, duplicate games etc in shot, so this is just for the games, i will try get a pic of the missing games at some point nothing super rare and the majority of them are unboxed but i just pick them up as and when i see them, only bought about 4-5 from ebay, all the rest have been sourced locally Added:- The missing games Zelda Pal boxed copy is still missing from the photo's at this point but i think that's the only game except duplicates
Nice collection, some really great games there too The SNES was my first console, so I have a real soft spot for things like this. I kept all of my games from then, and their boxes rather than trading games, and binning boxes as many of my friend did, so have built up a nice collection too, with little to no eBay buying (there is something much more personal / special about buying in person!!), though I never get all of mine out in 1 go, and my carts are stored out of their boxes. You are inspiring me to get some photos taken too though..
yeah i love getting them all out just to keep me motivated to keep buying, luckily i know a guy who used to own a shop and he has tons of games, i have pretty much bought all his "cheap" stock and now he is coming out with the quality games (this is where the terrnigama, mario RPG etc came from) unfortunately they have the quality price tag to go with them XD but still always cheaper than ebay etc and the stock he is turning up with now is indeed quality i have kinda run out of space on my shelves, i'm tempted to drop the mega drive/master system stuff from the shelf and make it all snes, snes is my personal favorite, and i would prefer to have them more on display than all crammed into the one shelf cant believe how much it has grown only been collecting about 2 years and only properly collecting about 1 years now, about 4 of the games are originals from when i was a kid, unfortunately most of them got given away to relatives etc, but still its nice to own my original snes and a few of the original games anyways it seems my urge to take a picture seems to hit every 4-6 months, here are some older one Spoiler September 13 June 2013
That a lovely thread of Super Nintendo collection you got. I don't like America version of Super nintendo and cartridge. Design are horrible! European version looks so nicer. Only best thing I had is Secrete of Mana in box with plastic bag. Book and map.
Yeah, I plan to, been looking around for the best price I can find though, as once I include all my nes and gb/gba games the price for a whole bunch of protectors is quite a bit, I was going to order a couple from the uk seller yesterday for the terranigma, mario rpg and turtles in time, but now the seller has gone on holiday....well they are stored away for now so should be safe until I pick some box protectors up never actually thought I would end up with so many of the expensive*ish* games in such good condition.....I had mostly been picking up carts only when I first started, but the guy I know who used to run a shop has such nice copies that I have ended up with some really great games in pretty much mint condition for some fairly good prices! I nearly have as many boxed games as I do carts now .....it's kinda fun seeing what he is going to turn up with each week as he has them all in storage Yeah, I'm not too much of a fan of NTSC copies, I'm trying my best to stick to collecting pal-uk only, I only get the American ones if it's pretty cheap or I have had a few American games thrown in when I'm buying a bunch of others to sweeten the deal XD dont mind if it was a US only(in English) release though like mario RPG
Very nice! I never owned a SNES and only recently saw a cartridge in real life for the first time and they're smaller than I imagined!
only a couple of bits this time so heres a picture of a gamecube i done with a white LED which i think looks cool XD, kinda wish i would of made this thread for all the stuff i pick up instead of just snes....oh well
Cool beans. SNES is my favourite machine and I used to collect SNES [and other Nintendo] stuff but lack of space made it difficult to look after those fragile boxes properly.
Them poor boxes , I have an ocd thing for minty snes boxes which in turn scares my cash point machine. Keep up the good work
Yeah some of the boxes are pretty poor, but quite a few are fairly decent,I would love them all in mint condition, but my main priority is getting as many as possible before I start replacing games with better conditioned copies, also 90% of them are sourced locally from markets etc, it's much harder finding a decent condition box if your not going through ebay my main aim is getting a full set i only get duplicates if I know I can make a quick sale on it and use the profit to get a different game or if it's part of a bundle (although I never seem to get around to selling them :s) im im still sorting out getting box protectors which should help reshape some of the more panned in boxes to a degree, but surprisingly it's some of the more expensive games I have that are in very good condition
Thx for sharing. Some boxes are in bad condition but dont mind hopefully you got these game complete and maybe you should buy protecting cases for your boxes. Your Donkey Kong Country 2 Big Box is nice. Keep em up and happy Gaming.
ok no updates for a while i think this is everything (snes related) that i have picked since the last picture
ok instead of making a new thread for other stuff i will kinda make this thread into one for all my collections, i focus on the snes so the rest aren't as good, so i don't really want to make a separate thread for them I might add other consoles stuff here too Mega Drive Master System (yeah the bottom 2 on the left are added on....wanted all included and missed them out)
That someone would be me from when i was a kid got to keep that one as is, its "MY" snes after-all, the very one that started it all,
