That link doesn't work for me, connection refused What difference would the arcade PSU make? That PSU I have is already pretty small, about half the size of a standard ATX... Like most of these projects, it was built out of what I had to hand, not necessarily the best possible parts money can buy ;-)
Looks pretty sweet to me. Nice work. Also I'd never heard of Blue Elf before. Interesting and looks nice in that black cause which I thought was a bootleg MVS cart.
Very nice work there. Looks great with the monitor on top. I used to have a screen just like that for my Amiga 1200. Wish i'd not got rid of it now
Inspiring work, are the 56pin connectors readily available? I'm planning to build a supergun box for an MVS. Really excited now too because I've only just started becoming familiar with a soldering iron making an arcade stick.
I bought some from here: http://www.jammaboards.com/store/56-pin-card-edge-connector/prod_9.html. Although it probably isn't very economical to order a single connector from them, given that they're on the other side of the pond. If you just want the one, it's probably best to check eBay - as aryssoR mentioned.
I managed to grab a few off eBay and PCB mounting feet. Looking to build a supergun for a MV-1FZS and mount them on a MDF board, like the Naomi is mounted, but as a base for surfaces.
