    Heads up everyone!

this is a special two part show by me for RVG... its a top ten list of my personal favourite Master System games.

Please remember this is my personal choice top ten and RVG don't necessarily agree or disagree with my personal opinion lol :)

enjoy and let me know your thoughts, I've tried to be as fair and unbiased as I could be but at the end of the day it mostly came down to the games I have the fondest memories for.

Feel free to post your top tens here I'm interested to hear what games you think would make your top ten!

Any feedback on the vids, likes, comments, subscriptions are always greatly appreciated!

im seriously regretting selling my master system 2 now :(

dont know if i'll get a master system again or prehaps just a converter addon for the megadrive, would love to play through alex the kidd again, it was one of my first console games i played (not counting the C64 as a console)

R-Type on the mastersystem was excellent.

i find space harrier 2 to be better then the original but original is still a good but highly frustrating game as all shooters should be lol.

galaxy force 1 i agree with you was a better game the space harrier. galaxy force 2 however im not so sure about i'd need to play it again.

but yeah nostalgia in bucketloads, loved the mastersystem when i 1st had it and when i got it again years later. Truely Awesome system. in my opinion better then the NES although i may get lynched for saying that :)

edit: on part 2 i didnt even know Alien 3 was out on master system, quality. i loved the mega drive version and still have the original one i got back in the day for my 1st megadrive :)

    all in all good video

thanks mate! Yeah watch where you say things like that lol, yeah love the SMS, just a shame that Alex Kidd was built in to the SMS MK2, they for some crazy reason decided to do away with the awesome Composite out port, and left it with the rubbish RF Lead out instead

still, its a brilliant system and I'm really annoyed still that I sold all my original collection when I was younger, you live and learn though I guess :(

I was never a fan of the Master System, in fact when I saw this thread the first thing that came to mind was "Were there even ten good Master System games?" :congratulatory: Zillion and the Wonder Boys are good though, and I enjoyed Sonic 1 on Game Gear. I'm surprised to see Sonic 2 on your list though, since for me that's easily one of the worst Sonic games ever.

Master System Shinobi was good, as was Black Belt, the rest of the line up was SHIT

    Nice videos mate!

Master system was the console I grew up with; I still have my original Mk1 console. Some excellent titles for the system, all the Wonderboy games are great fun and if you don't already own it you should look out for Bomber Raid (this is my personal favourite game for the system but probably more for nostalgic reasons rather than the gameplay itself).

I think the SMS port of California Games is probably one of the best. AFAIK it's the only one to have the frisbee stage too...

The Master System was my first ever console. What a great system it was. I played Space Harrier, Wonderboy 1,2,3, Power Strike (Aleste), Aztec Adventure (yeah, that was crap), Lord of the Sword, Golivus (SP?), Shinobi and many more to death. I loved my Master System but swiftly sold it to buy a Mega Drive in 1988.

coool, see I got most of my older consoles second hand when I was a whelp so I didn't need to sell them at the time. though when I was 16 and stupid I decided it would be a good idea to sell my Master System, Mega Drive, Mega CD and Atari Jaguar to buy a Playstation 1.... BIG MISTAKE... regretted that ever since lol

I had a Master System before I had an NES... But I'm an American so ya know... My MS is sort of rotting in a Landfill now. But looking at the games for it now, Few are really any good.

But as I said Earlier Black Belt was my favorite. Not Hokuto No Ken (I can never get past Heart in that version) but Black Belt The Oni Boss fight was so unique.

    In no particular order:
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (totally love, it's just one of the best Master System games)
Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic Chaos (love)
Chapolim vs. Dracula: Um Duelo Assustador (love the character but too hard)
    Superman, Renegade (love)
Tom & Jerry (totally love, also one of the best)
Scramble Spirits (totally love, one of the best too)
    Rambo III, Wanted (like)
Submarine Attack, Thunder Blade, R.C. Grand Prix, Choplifter, Sonic Spinball (like)

I remember these. Scramble Spirits, Sonic 2 and Tom & Jerry being the best.

And I still need to play Sonic Blast. I've bought one, but not played it yet. =/

Hey, since you love Zillion you may like to hear the real version of the BGM used in the Master System game.
