Is it connected to the net? Because if it is maybe Nintendo have sent you a mail about an update? Yakumo
Yep, it's an update for the Shop Channel in anticipation of WiiWare. With Telltale Games having announced a new episodic series for WiiWare, all of a sudden I have a genuine reason to be pissed at Nintendo for its laughable definition of "storage". >_<#
Hmm, so we will be getting Wiiware titles soon in the US, I gather? I thought it was only for Japan right now, and would eventually be brought over?
FFCC: My Life As A King has already been announced for the U.S.. Though funnily enough, the U.S. roster at last count is only two games while Japan's getting around 8 or so when the service launches. My suspicion is that WiiWare will be explosively popular in Japan but die a slow death in America due to NoA dragging its feet.
Nintendo has always been sort of shitty with the virtual console, although they do occasionally get better games. I think the biggest problem is Nintendo being anal about hard drive support, especially since SD cards do little outside of backing up memory.
I woke up today to find a mail from Nintendo on my Wii. Like mentioned above, it was to update the Wii for Wiiware. Nothing is available in the shopping channel yet but when it does the Wii will be ready. Now I wonder if this update will also include something to stop the FreeLoader? Yakumo
