One of our staff brought us what she tragically called a Sega genesis : so, we have Mario kart 64, goldeneye, and Mario golf. Being management can be fun.
lol, good stuff guys. The thing that amazes me is how much i love mario kart 64, and how bad it tragically chugs along in regards to frame rate. didnt mario kart snes seem smoother? even in split screen 2 player mode.
I recall it being bad, but that was on a system without the ram pak. Does that Genesis have the ram expansion?
yes, it actually does. I dont know. I was reading or listening to (cant even remember) something online that made the same point years ago about how SNES era it was amazing how they managed to keep mario kart running smoother than its n64 bretherin. On a related note, i cant even really turn the thing on because it automatically drains an hour from my day. Its such an amazing time killer, and surprisingly in depth when I go back and play it. We need to get KI Gold for it next.
Oh absolutely. N64's were the best time killer indeed. I remember going over to my friend's house for hours on end, playing SSBros and James Bond Golden Eye. Those were the golden days. You also need Perfect Dark for some multiplayer.
since you are in canada, do you remember games being hard to rent at first? the only place that had them in calgary was rogers video... eventually everyone got them but it seemed to take a while
It was a while before we got a couple more games to rent. He used to live in calgary, but his family went to rogers, rented a couple games and then moved here :applause: They've got the worst credit score I have ever seen. But yes, it did take a while. He had a couple games (some bought, some borrowed for an extender period of time) so we just played those until renting became possible in Vancouver. We did give them back because he wasn't planning on moving.
