can't you tell? That xbox was signed at the Halo 3 launch party. Bungie is master of both time and space...

Took a chance on ebay and got burned. Turns out I purchased an empty xbox prototype that the seller made sound like still had its hard drive. Oh well, still a cool case, pics in the first post.

I also found it strange that the wires for the power/eject assembly and controller ports were cut. Seems like this proto was "prepped" for release outside of MS.

Glorifier Console Housing Assembly... Damn, if that rat bastard had shown me that i could have told you what it was to begin with... No wonder he never took a pic of that sticker...

You sir, have an empty display model. It was used for display cases and showing off what the console looked like. It never had any internal parts (aside from the DVD drive). It's actually the sister box to one of my prototypes, it came off of the same assembly line on the same day.

Strangely enough, the part number XM000123 is still valid. You could order more of these if you wanted them... (Don't think you'd ever get 'em tho).

Well I guess I feel a little better knowing that it was a display model and never a working proto that someone might have trashed. Didnt want to pay $100+ for it though

EDIT: What exactly is the Glorifier Console Housing Assembly? Where do you think this was displayed at? Nice to see we've adopted proto siblings

My mistake...was looking at your post when I typed that. You both have that Xbox 360 thing so I couldn't tell the difference :D

    Nice prototypes, Deadperfect :)

Just added a pic of my launch team faceplate.

@Paulo: For the barebones 360 I bought all the minimum parts needed to have a functioning console. This included the mobo/dvd drive, bottom shielding, fans, screws, and dvd power and sata cables. Since I already have a 360, I don't have to buy a PSU or HD, which brings the total to around $150. I wanted to have another box for playing around with the different hacks as they became available.

I see you have the Retail Game Loader V.120 on your XDK.Does it work pretty good on retail games, also does it load up lets say Evox or Xbmc.

@ Pikkon: The loader does work well with retail games. And yes, it does boot homebrew. I plan on sharing this app later today.

    @ OE: I'm flattered :110:
