Now on day 5 of a "2-day priority shipping." Have requested my money back because he sure as hell is never going to ship the damn thing.

What a mess this has become. I maintain it was my fault for not following up on the missing package in a timely fashion but the rest of DevHackr's behavior after receiving the unit is unconscionable.

Buyer claimed the system I shipped him arrived broken and non working and demanded a full refund. I have been shipping things nearly daily for over 12 years, i think i know how to pack something right.
On top of this I got insurance just in case... i asked DevHackr many times for the slightest bit of cooperation so I could help him with the "broken system".
I offered to start a USPS insurance claim if he could send me proof of the damage. He refused unconditionally and demanded all his money back in full.
I even offered to send a full refund if he would send the system back to me, and I even offered to cover return shipping on top of this, which I believe is more than fair given the circumstance. He still refused and demanded his money back in full.

I explained many times very patiently that I would be happy to help him out if he could either 1) return the item to me, or; 2) send photos of box damage and damage to the item itself. He began acting very verbally abusive and demanded it was only fair if I refunded him all his money BEFORE he even provided ANY PROOF of the damage!

I told him if he would refuse to provide me ANY PROOF AT ALL that the item did not arrive in excellent and working condition, that I was done dealing with him. He said he would open an Amazon fraud case if I didn't pay him back. Naturally given the circumstances I told him to be my guest.

To this day an amazon case has not been opened. I suspect this is because he knows he is wrong and trying to get a free console out of me. I hope nobody has been tricked by him by malicious words alone into giving a full refund.

I strongly encourage nobody to do business with DevHackr. If he tries to deny any of this I will be more than happy to allow the site mods and admins to see our PM conversations. I gave him MANY chances to work with me a little and get this resolved but it is because of his unwillingness to work this issue out that we are here now.

If DevHackr changes his mind and is willing to show me any proof the system did not arrive in excellent working shape as advertised, I will be more than happy to assist him in returning the item, but unless I see any ACTUAL PROOF of his claims I consider this deal "settled".

I demanded my money back first because you have no intention of doing things in a timely fashion, and you lied to me time and time again. As for the condition check the video. I'm sorry but a sega saturn is not going to "unscrew" itself, nor is the video going to die off on it. You sold me a bunk unit, and it took a FUCKING MONTH in order to do so. I have had many interactions and sales with people here, without a single incident. You are a scammer, flat out.

Here's the video again, perhaps now you can stop pretending you haven't seen it.

Good god almighty. Enough of the name calling already. From what I've seen before it got removed both parties seem to be at fault.

MyCrunkyBaby seems to be at fault for the long wait and the messed up console.

DevHackr seems to be at fault based on his reaction to this as well as his subsequent actions.

Take a chill pill and try to discuss this like adults. This childish name calling and "he said" thing isn't helping much. Seems to just be going in circles at this point. There are protocols for this sort of thing and they aren't being followed.

You need to read the negative feedback post. I wish they would merge these two things together. I was scammed. He has been caught lying multiple times. It took a month for him to get off his ass, except the one time "oh, I didn't pay enough postage lol." It arrived to me broken, with half of the screws barely even in it. How am -I- at fault?

I did read the post. What I saw is that you did in fact get a bad item that wasn't near the description. What I also saw is you're acting very childish. The language and names aren't really necessary to show the bad deal you got. Then there's the fact you refuse to follow protocol for refunds. Pretty much any sale done online requires the defective item to be sent back first for a refund. eBay, Amazon, PayPal and many more are that way. If the refund proves to be a problem then you can rant about it with the "bad language" and we probably wouldn't mind then. Conduct is a big thing here and I can tell you from experience the way you're acting is not the way to go.

I've had a few bad deals go down. They were almost always resolved quickly and if it wasn't I didn't go on a rampage. Going "apeshit mad" never really solves things any faster than if you were to go into the problem with a calm and collected mind. I'm just basing what I got from this on my own experience with deals online as well as my own experience with conduct here. Take it or leave it.

That's true. I should have clarified better. Typically if the item is fairly cheap and several are in stock then it's easier to just replace it without needing to return the damaged one. for items like the Saturn mentioned here that's not really possible since it's kind of expensive and there aren't several like it in stock.
