So there is a video on myspace which i want to download so i don't have to rely on streaming it as myspace is fucked up with me all the time stopping and starting the video every few seconds even though i pause it to give it plenty time to stream plus i want to put it to my phone for when i 'm say sitting on a bus or whatever. Now i've tried several sites which can download from Youtube...etc but they do-not work and i've also tried several firefox addons but they too do-not work. I've also Googled this question but all the topics don't work or are from years back so don't work either as myspeace will have updated things i'm guessing. Does anyone know how i can download videos from myspace that is proven and works. Cheers.
I use a piece of software called bitcomet. i cant post what its used for but it comes with a handy addon that when you right click allows you to download every piece of video on the webpage
Tried Bitcomet just now and it don't work. Somehow the video isn't being detected by whatever method i use be-it software, web page or FF add-on
Use any youtube download plugin for firefox or other browsers or instal real player which can download all sorts of streaming formats.
I tried several video down-loaders for FF and i even downloaded Real Player but they all fail to download the video.
Some download managers now allow you to right click and download video via browser integration. If you're on a mac I can recommend iGetter or Foxl.
I have orbit downloader on windows 7 which does have a video download option which integrates with FF/IE but it doesn't work on myspace somehow but it has worked with youtube, dailymotion...etc when i've needed it. It seems whatever myspace have done with the video player has made it that bit more impossible to download from it as i did download the In flames - Delight And Angers video from it when it was posted on there but that was a while back now.
