    Mystery game. 90's RPG adventure

I'm unsure which platform this is from. Might even be from an arcade game. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you noticed any initials on the artwork there?

Wild card guess I'd make is for a dungeons and dragons RPG for the Sega CD.

Reminds me of Heroes of Might and Magic and/or Disciples Sacred Lands (maybe Disciples a bit more)

[EDIT] Looking at the year, It could be from the first HOMM

It does look a bit like the M&M NES map.

Given the super funky images, I would say amiga CD32 or PC.

It definitely appears to be a little maze to go along with a game.

Hopefully I am not asking the most stupidest question in the world (I probably am because I always do :banghead: ), but what makes you think it was from a video game?

I got this in a stack of videogame artwork like this one. Everything else is a known videogame.

Check it out I didn't notice this till just now. This Time Killers sketch has a skull with horns and to the right the stonehenge stones just like the unknown art.

Timekillers though was a fighting game, this looks more like a map to a Zelda-style action rpg, perhaps as included inside of a manual or player's guide. They look close, but I don't think the same artist did them.

Each maze has those stones there, which probably means the stones in the middle could be like a hub level, so maybe you were allowed to choose the order of the levels in the game, ala Mega Man or something?

From the map, the bosses look like a Dragon, Cyclops, Roc (giant bird,) and Gorgon with Posidon in the water level. Is this ringing a bell with anyone?

There is also the possibility that this game is unreleased.

Looks a bit like Heimdall for the Sega CD, or Heimdall 2 for the CD32.

Well I tried to ask the person I got it from for more info but he seems to not remember. Some of the details have been a bit off in the past and I really doubt this was for an arcade game but this is what he said.

"I threw in a couple of "bonus" pieces, and that's one of them.
Unfortunately, I can't remember what it was for! Probably an ad for a
    coin-op game"
