I haven't seen any NGage units or games in any of the actual brick/mortar EB establishments, though you can still buy everything through their website. Gamestops still carry the Ngage and do get all the newest games in.
It all depends on the store itself - the Gamestop here never had ANY NGage equipment or games in, but the EBGames keeps trying vainly to sell off their remaining stock.
Out of curiosity, what are the priced of the QD units over in US? they are still £80 here, and I want one, but don't mind buying a cheap imported one, as I don't intend to use the phone part.
I got one of the originals when it first came out. Pretty good emulation scene, but you look like a fool when you talk...
They're currently $99 for the QD edition. I could be mistaken, but I believe these are all the pre-paid Cingulair editions now. http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product_id=020251 You can almost get a QD for free if you order through a cell phone carrier like TMobile or Cingulair, after all rebates and discounts are applied.
oh hell yea...the local eb(in hamilton) had roughly 20 new games and bout 15 used.....the only game over 10 bucks was splinter cell 3..which at the time had been just released..they had pocket kingdom for 10 dollars also.....i wish i picked it up...would have been nice........all the original launch titles were cheap to....though tomb raider was 2.99 and moto gp 3.99.... i had hope in that console will the ngage eventual become one of those "its so bad its collectible" is the question we must ask ourselves.... but it sucked soo much that there useless even as paperweights
The Morrowind spin-off looks pretty decent. Also the Roots and Rifts games too. Perhaps the RPGs are worth collecting on the system, since they'd be probably cheap.
oh yea i fogot bout morrowind travels....graphics look nice but they say the framerate sucks bad, the ngage could only do 25fps max if i remember...
n-gage is just a mix of bad ideas, imo. i mean, check the screen, check how you change games, check how you talk with that thing, check how you need to click on the direction stick to enter something. what you need to do to change the sound level, and all and all.
