TonK isn't a scammer though since I already saw this on digitpress today. It seems more like a test unit but the sticker says proto on it.

 

Yep the only other time i seen a Ngage proto was when my friend got a display unit. Also said proto on the back.

 

So is it sought after/rare?

Depends on how many were sent out to stores for display units. Probably worth around $100.

 

Yeah, the problem is that N-Gage has the Stigma of suck around it...(don't get me wrong...i don't think it's the worst thing on the planet...but it has a bad reputation)...I'd say around 150 or so...there isn't a big collector's market for N-gage stuff in general.

 

Is there anything remotely different on this unit then on a normal n-gage qd that i have appart from the proto sticker ?

 

I might go for it, doesn't bother me the phone part don't work.

But, for only a bit more I can buy a "real" one...

You might find cheaper shipping. I managed to get a large heavy box with ice skates in the mail within like 3 days from california for $50... Via UPS.
