is it worth collecting for the N-Gage i can pickup one refurbshed for around 45nzd free shipping i used to use a nokia 6630 for years that uses the same os i even had 2/3 N-Gage games on it and really miss it should get one? it would be kinda free as the money i would use it buy it i get from doing surveys and other tasks online to make money
Generally the N-Gage is widely known to be a steaming pile of hot garbage, but what you collect is entirely up to you in the end. I also collect things that other people think are garbage, but to me they mean something more. Also, does that count as "free money"? You're still spending time and doing work to get it. Plus it's probably extremely monotonous.
Like Chief says, as long as you personally think it's worth it than it is. Don't expect to flip for hundreds of dollars or anything, but it is a unique gaming item from the past. I have one and a few games, it's fun to bust out every once in a while.
There's a few titles on there that are fun, but I wouldn't go out of my way to actually start a collection for it tbh. I'd say, if you've got a bit of money to spare, just grab the taco itself as well as a couple MMCs to play around with.
well most things i do to make money only take about 2/4mins at most in the last 4 years i have made 3000nzd or more
Think about doing some entry level job for even just one day a week instead. You'll make more money, and stop supporting bullshit "businesses" based on surveys-n-shit. Not to mention gain job experience (even if all you do is flip disgusting burgers or keep bunches of flowers moist, it still counts in the eyes or HR people).
ok i decided to get one its refurbished cost me 46.11nzd and got a 2gb mmc card for 4.22nzd both with free shipping it came with charger 2x 1070mha battery and free gift that was one of those black and white crappy brick game thing
I at one point collected Rubik's cubes but only of "milk yellow" plastic colour. People thought it was strange but it didn't stop me, low production quantities meant more collectability (except a few that were made to just be an option) What you collect is up to you, it doesn't matter as long as you enjoy it. Unless it's illegal in which case - don't mess up and/or don't at all.
I was a big N-Gage fan, and advocate, while it was on the market. It was my first cell phone! I had a lot of fun with it, despite its goofy design and (what I think) was a lackluster game library. Looking back, I can still recommend it if you would like to experience and research a unique, historical device. Just don't expect to be blown away. BONUS! Shameless plug: I designed and produced a game, Super Fighter Block Battle, for the N-Gage and its Series 60 v2 brethren. You're welcome to download it free from our website and have a go... http://www.sfblockbattle.com/download.htm I hope you enjoy your N-Gage adventures.
If I'm not mistaken, the N-Gage was a machine with quite a few exclusive titles from quite big game series, like The Elder Scrolls and Tomb Raider, which should mean they're of interest to afficionados and completionists of those game series.
Elder Scrolls Travels is a thing, yes, as are Pocket Kingdoms and Pathway to Glory. I think those are the most important exclusives. Tomb Raider is just a port, with bad controls - don't bother unless you're a collector. But do try Virtua Cop - it works surprisingly well for a light gun game on a phone.
Avoid Red Faction like the plague. It's too slow in the beginning, and gets game-cripplingly slow in later levels. Even after mastering the controls and timing, AND using a "replenish health" code I couldn't get past one of them, and it was all because of the damning slowdown. It never should have been released.
