I was digging through a fiend's box of assorted stuff and came upon a N64 controller I'd never seen before. It was white, and had a "JOYPAD" label on it. On the bottom of it was (what looked like) a serial port. On the back of the controller was a cartridge slot, but the few games I had lying around wouldn't correctly fit into it. The Z button was pretty hard to click in, and it had no R/L buttons on the top.

I'll try to get pictures of this tomorrow, but does anyone have any idea what controller this is, or where it came from? It was pretty odd looking to me, and my friend had no idea where she got it from.

I should note, it also had (what looked like) an IR sensor at the top, but the pad itself was wired.

There's some Chinese Famiclones that are in lookalike N64 controllers. Could be one of them or another clone system.
I'm sure if you could get a picture of one somebody here could tell you exactly.
