N64 converting NTSC games to PAL

Hi

I've found that the NTSC version of banjo tooie works on the PAL N64 if you take a hacksaw to the plastic that doesn't let it fit.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows what other games work and why or why not, before I get really excited?

What are you saying it's imposible because of the CIC. Just of curiosity, i tested a ntsc banjo tooie on a pal n64 and it didn't worked.

 

I heard you just remove the tab on NTSC to play Japanese N64 games, however PAL to NTSC or NTSC to PAL is much harder of course. Don't know what is needed to convert either/both ways, anyone got a link?

 

I know the guys from project-casemod.de did it. Very nice to read, but sorry only in german. Maybe you can translate it...
