    The 64 does have cart tabs, it will only play Japanese games unless you remove them.

    Yep, I had one for about a month and traded it for a NGPC with games. :)

    It's pretty much just a japanese n64 with a pretty sticker on it.

    Wow, I didn't realise that the 1st come, 1st served premise doesn't apply around here any more.

    I'm sure if you scroll back, Legit was first to clearly say yes he wants it.

    This happened on the $1000 ps2 thread too - 2 items for sale. 1 guy puts his name down. 2nd guy puts his name down. Assembler seems to cross post and not notice, so says 1 left. 3rd guy puts name down, then it is announced they've gone. Did guy no 2 lose out on that one? :smt009

    *edit* apologies, for the guy may well be a girl!!!

    But really, what would you do with the nonstandard N64? I thought you, upon your high and mighty cloud of disinterest and contempt, looked down your nose on those of us oohing and aahing at the chance to own rare development equipment.

    I guess I just found that a really elitist and offensive thing to say.

    Sorry, no offense intended but my aim in that comment was "just wait, theres plenty for all..." Theres no need for competition or bickery... And since you asked: I just learned that the Partner N isn't just a stock 64, there is a specific enhancement. I plan to use a logic analyzer to study the specific enhancement. Anyone else with plans like this? I can't say I'm more righteous than anyone else with any of their intents and purposes but seriously, I believe that most people here will buy the stuff up, realize they can't use it and resell it and think back on the time where they owned one of those expensive doorstops. Since 0.01% of this stuff will be used, EVERYONE is buying because the little elitist inside them is telling them to get something few others have.
