    Hi Folks,

For those of you that have been following my posts here, or have also seen some of my Video's on my YouTube channel surrounding N64 related development...You'll know that over the past year or so, I have been getting in touch with various game Developers and also collectors from all over.

I've slowly been gathering N64 development hardware and also hunting down documentation & software... hoping to learn more and also preserve what I find for the N64 Development community. Eventually I plan to post some in-depth Tutorials on my YouTube Channel for basic N64 Programming. A very basic Primer ...just to get people up and going. This will be similar to the many video Tutorials I have on my YouTube Channel, surrounding basic FPGA programming projects and other areas of Electronics. I find teaching something is the best way to really learn an area of study....hence my desire to post a Tutorial set. :)

    Anyhow,
Over this past summer, I made contact with an SNES developer from France who had acquired some N64 Development CD's. He obtained these as part of a larger LOT sale of Nintendo related items. As his main area of focus was SNES development, he was open to the idea of parting with these CD's.

After coming to an agreement on price, I managed to acquire a large collection of Official N64 Development installation CD's. Once again this was a significant investment for me, however I feel it is important to preserve this precious Data from disappearing into oblivion!!!

I also hope it will help out the N64 development community, and further expand the number of N64 developers out there.

My Gift to the N64 Development community.

I'm hoping at some point that Level42 will be able to host these for us?

Also, I would just like to thank the former owner of these CD who is actually a member here:
@antilosa ..... Thanks for everything and also putting up with all of my bantering emails...LOL ^_^.
I look forward to discussing SNES development with you.

    Anyhow,
    That's all for now Folks,

    Cheers!
    -Gerry

The really cool thing about having all of these discs is that they are the official installation CD's. With a SETUP executable.
    As far as I know, the existing SDKs and N64 OS versions that most Homebrew developers have been using;
have all been just a copy of a folder from a hard drive..... off a former PC installation.

Now, with the actual Install CD's, we can setup and install the software as it was intended.

I've also been just going through them and there seems to be a lot of sample code. However, it may just be a repeat of what is already available online. Regardless, I'm still glad we have all this data to experiment with.

    Fun Stuff!

The new images will be uploaded as soon as I get them. In the mean time, they've been removed and marked as offline.

Thanks again to Gerry_MAN for providing these!

Thank's so much for archiving all of this. I managed to setup a build environment in virtualbox and got the SDK working. I'm still mostly messing around but I managed to compile most of the sample programs except for Mirror House Cornflake.

If you're not interested in using the CD's for Development purposes, but more for just collecting.......then you just have to keep a close watch. They do pop-up from time to time on eBay.....however not very often.

For those of you that do get a hold of other DEV CD's/ Manuals.... or perhaps some of you already have some in your current collections......I really hope people will follow my example and share with the N64 Dev community as I have.......regardless of investments made in acquiring them.

You'll be helping to grow the N64 Homebrew development community!
It's a pretty Awesome thing to take part in when you think about it.

    So Thanks.... and Cheers!
