I just got my N64 Everdrive v2 so I put the latest BIOS on it and some games, but the start screen is all flickery and jittery making things hard to read. It also seems to be wider than my CRT so it can't be centered on screen. I'm using a RGB cable (N64 is NTSC and RGB modded) and regular cartridge games work, so I'm guessing it must be something with the Everdrive (setup issue maybe?). Has anyone else experienced something similar?

EDIT: I just tested a game loaded from the Everdrive and that works just fine, so it's just the file select screen that's messed up. The "No BIOS detected" screen that comes up with no SD card inserted also looks normal.

Sounds like a resolution issue maybe? Got another tv to try it on?

EDIT: In fact, does perfect dark work? pretty sure that game uses a higher resolution (if you have the extra memory installed).

Turns out it was that I was using a device that didn't like 480i for some reason. Once I removed the device it worked perfectly.

Had a feeling it was resolution related. Glad you got it sorted out. :)

The device in question was an Extron 201 RXI, which allows you to center the image horizontally and vertically. I'd still love to use it, but not being able to deal with 480i signals is a big no-no.
