N64 portable commission completed

Not doing another commission until mid-end of 2015, however had been working on this system for a few months and finally finished it with a video.

What makes this system different is the lithium camcorder battery packs are interchangeable and also there is a screen protector made which integates with the system.

Why would you put a display with the wrong aspect ratio in an N64 handheld?

 

Because it has a larger screen, 7". Personally I prefer 4:3 aspect but a lot of people prefer widescreen to give larger viewing screen.

 

That's a pretty cool mod, I've always been highly impressed by the modification of a console into a portable.

Question though, you mentioned that there was no volume control. Is there no way to silence it?
