    Hello everyone,

    Hope you can help!

Just got an NTSC N64, Tim's RGB board and an RGB SCART cable which takes Luma Sync from pin-7 (from retrogaming cables).

What I'm not sure about is whether I need to do any further modification to the N64 for Luma sync? I hear some people have had to connect pin 7 to 3 (composite sync) and cut pin 3's track. Is this what I need to do? Do I need to connect any of these pins to the mod board itself?

Many thanks in advance for any help and advice!

you do not need to do that. people use the hack you mentioned to put luma on the composite sync pin on -04 boards that do not have composite sync. just follow the normal install instructions.
