I obtained something called the N64 Sound Tool. It has a connector on the back. Is there any use to this? Any software for it, or how does it work at all? From another site, it looks like:
Hello What I have in my collection: http://img357.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1000293aa6.jpg http://img359.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1000294dr1.jpg http://img122.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1000295wd4.jpg http://img49.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1000296pz2.jpg A documentation would be welcome :banghead:
From the SDK: System Requirements: Standard PC w/ Pentium 90 MHz CPU Windows 95 16 MB of memory 10 MB of free disk space Printer port or parallel I/O card with full two-way communication capability Standard Centronics Printer cable Sound card (for Waveform Editor) N64 Control Deck including AC adapter and AV cable TV set So it's just a regular printer cable interface, no SCSI. The software is basically a sample editor and MIDI editor. Kinda clunky but it works. I'll see if I still have it. Would anyone mind taking pictures of the inside? I'd guess it's just an interface to write directly to RDRAM.
You have the CD!!?!?!? Can you pm me and put a rip of it somewhere!? I'd love to try it out! At least see if it can connect or what it can do with the software. I just booted it up, and it's definitely working, just need the software and I'll go buy the cable somewhere.
