Hello guys, I'm a big N64 fan, and I have a lot of consoles (funtastic power), I think is a fun console to collect for, also I think that console is very sturdy and has a very low failure rate. That being said, I have a n64 with a weird problem, the console works with many games I've tried....but has a problem with Mario 64, the title loads up, the "IT'S A ME MARIO" sounds, then comes the black screen (before continuing to the big 3d mario head) and it gets stuck in that black screen. it is not the game as it works perfect in other consoles, also I've tried a japanese mario 64 that I have and.....same problem. I also found a problem with indiana jones infernal machine, when I turn the console this is what I get: BUT, If I use the Expansion Pack, the game plays fine (that game supports the expansion ) I'm sure there are other games that won't work with this console, but I haven't tested all of them yet. The pins are clean (both console and game), and well I really don't have any clue of what could be the problem and that is the reason of this post. Any ideas? Thanks!
Hey, thanks for the input, but I forgot to say that I 've tried many jumper packs, and the problem is still there.
I cleaned the pins of the jumper pack socket, nothing, mario 64 starts, It'sa me mario, black screen. It's very weird.
