N64DD w/ overclocked N64 ?

with overclocked N64 will it work with N64DD setup?
or N64DD is designed for the stock N64?

I think it doesnt matter as the bus speed stays at the normal value (you change the multiplier of the CPU)

Going slightly off-topic, is there really a difference with an overclocked N64? And how much of one? I would love to play Jet Force Gemini with smoother framerates (besides through an emulator).

there is web site who put up OC guide for N64 as well as MD and PS among others...
