Please help, this has been stuck in my head on loop for weeks on end.
Luckily I have finally it got stuck in my head while I was near a computer to record it (unlucky for you!).

Somebody, anybody! Set me free and name that tune!
    50Hz version
    60Hz version

Dunno, but great voice ;) I would said Stage 1 of Altered Beast but I don't think it is maybe another Megadrive game?

Hahaha, come to think of it it might be something even older than 16-bit...
Checked Altered Beast, nope that one is out - I'd never play that game, looks far too scary and dark. Hahaha!
Someone's gotta know what this tune is. It's been haunting me in my sleep.
My flatmate has even said that I sleepwalk singing this exact tune while making a bacon sandwich...WITH PICKLES.
    AND I HATE PICKLES!

Oh no way! That Columns music could easily go on Castlevania though, spooky sounding column dropping sounds! Ha!

You are such a prankster! I most certainly do not sound like that! My voice has far more vocal range and, and...
How could you even suggest that! :witless:

Just gave it a shot, it seemed to think I was singing some straaaaaaaange things. Hahaha, I know what I am singing is definitely from something. I just hope I can find out what it is before my head explodes.

Nope not that one either. I suspect it might be from NES / SMS era - Castlevania had the right "instruments" but the wrong tune.
I had a big listen to through a whole heap of Commodore 64 games and Amiga games in case it was in that area, but no luck so far.
    The search continues...!

I've just worked out why I've never heard of it or played it, needed a 75MHz Pentium. All I ever had was a 66MHz 486.
Quad speed CD-ROM? Geez that's a bit fast, from memory I would have only had a 2x Creative branded drive.
I'll get onto it and let you know the progress though! (Even if the music has no relevance to my song at all!)

Come on everyone! Someone must have some idea! It's got to be a gaming tune of some sort!
Why has it suddenly got stuck in my head again! :grief:

Is it at all possible that you made up the music yourself or that it is a mix of music from 2 separate songs merged together?
Also, It might help to know what you were doing when it got stuck in your head (if you even remember).

In any case, I am sure if you can't get it out of your head that you will figure it out eventually.

One time, I remember having the Super Mario All Stars: SMB1 bonus song (song that plays when you go down a warp pipe) stuck in my head for a month before figuring out what it was (and this was on my own).

Hahaha, yep it just keeps bouncing around in there. It's been in there for years upon years now, resurfacing eery so often.
It probably has shifted and changed tune too over the years... :sorrow: I'll never be free of this demon...

Thanks for the video though, that tune sure has some pep to it. I'll just play that on loop to drown out the other one! :biggrin-new:

Edit: Added a 60Hz version. Maybe the reason is the 50Hz / 60Hz difference in older games!
