Anyone know what chip this is? Always soft modded, not positive though I have a hunch. It's a v1.0 console. Also, would the cable coming out the back be for lcd? Thanks.

Now that is my job naming the old mod chips! J/K glad someone else here knows the mod chips also. To bad you are missing the programer. On the X2.0 it has the bios bank switches attached also. On the 2.1 PRO the moved them to a different PCB that went in the front of the console.

Well, I think ill be hanging on to this console for myself, so maybe ill need some more info. I can't seem to find a user guide for the chip anywhere, maybe someone can google better than me.

Also, what are the odds of finding a programmer? Can I make my own bios switcher if I find the pinout and have the correct pitched cable connector?

Odds of finding the programmer are extremely low. I recently found a x2.3b pro, a later model of that chip missing its programmer and front switch board. Sent it to Davidthomas here to see I he can get it to work for me.

Is your chip working properly without its programmer attached? If so I wouldn't bother messing with it any, it's a real pain in the butt to mess with those chips anymore.

Yes, it boots into xbmc with a 120gb hdd attached (although I don't think all of it is being used, only seen a couple partitions, max one was like ~20 gb). If there's not a ton I can do with it, I might just remove and soft mod to prevent issues down the road. I'll have to think upon it I guess. Might make a post in the WTB section.

The programmer is not gonna be easy to find. That is only for the X2.0 PRO. The X2.1 PRO did not have the bios switches on the programmer. The programers are like 1 in 15 still have them attached. Trust me I have been buying them from ebay for years and I have not got 1 with the programmer from ebay. They are big and are only held on with 2 sided tape.

I did finally get a X2.0 PRO with the Programmer and a X2.3b PRO with the programmer. So I can move the programmer to all the chips. Also the X2.6 programmer will program all the chips from X2.0 lite/ X2.0 PRO - X2.6. It handles all the versions even the lite + chips. Last week I went through my whole Xecuter chips and wrote flash bios 3.03 to all the banks on all the chips. I have also had a few people send me chips to be reprogrammed and that has helped people a lot. I do not mind helping out. It is horrible to get a bad flash and not be able to reprogram it.
