1) Is there specific development hardware, a la the katana dev kit for dreamcast, except for Naomi? Are there pictures of it? 2) For the Naomi GDRoms, can these simply be ripped via a Dreamcast with coders cable/BBA, using the DC as basically a GDRom reader? Is this the same for all GDRoms no matter the system? (IE: Naomi 2, Triforce, etc)
In answer to your second question, Yes. GDROM's no matter what the target system all have the same physical layout. I ripped many a Naomi and Chihiro GDROM using a Dreamcast and JJ10DM's parallel ripping cable.
