I've had an Alpha of Nascar Thunder 2004 (PS2) for quite some time now. According to Wikipedia, early versions of the game were significantly different then the released version. Don't currently have a way to check my alpha, but I figure there is a good chance it has differences. I only bought it to rip and then share with everyone, in case anyone was interested. I had hosting for the file lined up and handed over the rip, but I don't really know whats happening (if anything) with it anymore. It's a big file, too big for uploading sites, so I can't do it myself. Still want to share it though. If any one is willing to provide hosting, please let me know.

    Info on the disc:
    Nascar Thunder 2004 Alpha 11 B 07-08-2003
Is on an EA disc with a barcode and "Confidential Material: Return to Mastering Lab" Also says "Preview Only".
There is a freelancer's name on it as well, and while I don't want to get him in trouble (if he even would), I picked it up off of ebay, so I figure it is "free game" so to speak.

    Thanks!

Don't do it if it has his name on it please, he could have quit where he worked, and someone took it and sold it.

If that's how you feel, I will not. Was looking forward to my first release though..
Anyway, never actually wanted it for myself in the first place. It is priced cheaply in my for sale thread if anyone cares...

EA discs are mostly "fingerprinted". So if you are going to release it, then it's wise to see if anyone from the boards can encrypt the disc and/or locate and remove the fingerprint(s)

That would be cool. I'm just a collector/gamer, no fancy programming skills to speak of, so I have no idea what can/needs to be done specifically.
I've received one PM'd offer to remove the thumbprint already by someone whom says they have removed thumbprints from EA games before... Will talk with him some and then we'll see.
