They made a website telling some of their story, with some interesting pictures. Was quite surprised to discover they were the ones who made Way of the Warrior for the 3DO. http://www.naughtydog.com/timeline/
Cool video about their animation history, including footage of games during development http://www.gameinformer.com/b/featu...-the-history-of-animation-at-naughty-dog.aspx
Delete this imposter which is using a picture of my myself and girlfriend please ... go get a life dude, I know who you are so don't push it. Obviously you know nothing about laws and user identity theft ...
Uhm, what? EDIT: Scratch that. Anybody know of a convenient way to play Dream Zone? I noticed it wasn't on GOG or Steam, and I'd like to purchase it legally/avoid piracy. Seems interesting.
Wow! The Crash Bandicoot music video made my ears bleed. It's interesting the fact that CB was from the few western video games francises that became very popular to Japan. They were making manga based on it (at least in Playstation 1 era when he was very popular): http://www.crashmania.net/manga1/ The manga based on Crash Bandicoot 2 is very enjoyable but unfortunately unfinished. Personally I stop caring about Naughty Dog's game from Jak 2 and after. As a fan of the first Jax&Daxter I was disappointerd when they decided to turn this charming, colorful 3D platform into an edgy GTA clone. And I'm not fan of QTE games like Uncharted.
Way of the Warrior is my favorite Naughty Dog game. It's so bad it's good, while Uncharted just bores me to tears.
I would love to see Way of the Warrior make a comeback on PS4 complete with a 90s Industrial soundtrack and guest characters from other Naughty Dog Games.
Althought I was never fan of the original, a PS4 reboot like that would be interesting even as a digital release only. Big bonus if they make it low-budget like the first one.
I really wish Sony/Naughty Dog would reacquire the Crash Bandicoot franchise so they could make some new games. None of the post-Naughty Dog Crash games have been anywhere near as good as the original 3 games. I don't know why they don't do this - I'm sure Sony could afford it, and I think there are a lot of people who would be interested if they did. I guess they're not convinced (yet) that it would be worth the amount of time/money that they would have to put into it.
At this point, with so many Crash Bandicoot references since the PS4 launch, i think Activision is the one to blame. They probably don't want to sell the IP or are asking way too much. Plus it doesn't seem Naughty Dog is really that interested on making another Crash game. So Sony would have to risk it by asking another team to make it or even create a team just for it. Who knows what the final product could be? If it's too nostalgic, it would be destroyed by "reviewers" and "gamers" saying it hasn't evolved... If they changed it a bit too much, some will say it's not "real" remake. Overall, it will be impossible to please everyone. If you think about what happened to Sonic over the years, and what the last Crash Bandicoot games were, i think it's best to stay that way. I would love a new Crash Bandicoot game, but i don't know if Sony want to spend that much money on it.
