All I am saying is there is risk of a brick if someone where to mess up. That and an NDEV that has been softmodded would be considerably devalued.

It's still not a good idea. I'm done talking about this.

There is no Wii SDK 4.5
The download for SDK 4.5 that you have provided is just SDK 3.1 patch 4 with a lot of libraries and other stuff from 2007/2008.
It does include the Home Menu Library version 4.5 for Revolution SDK 3.1 which is likely what has caused the confusion.

I'm posting this here to be as transparent as possible.

Today, i noticed a report from jakeeeenator , requesting his guide (on the first post of this topic) to be deleted since he can't do it himself.

The editing rules were changed because a particular user decided to remove all of his posts, destroying some topic discussions. That user ended up being banned for that, which we then had to take steps for something like that not to happen anymore.

    Here's the outcome: https://assemblergames.com/threads/gutting-your-posts-is-a-ban.66605/

As the first post sugests, jakeeeenator doesn't want to participate in this community anymore and has every right to do so. He even links an updated version to another forum for anyone interested. Still, removing the first post would make this whole topic useless. A four page discussion, involving many members, would be lost.

So, @jakeeeenator , If you don't want to be associated to AssemblerGames anymore, i suggest you to contact the AdminTeam to have your account to be renamed or closed.

For now, and respecting your request, i'll lock this topic. Please PM me if that's fine with you or if you want more clarifications.
