Hi guys I have a ds lite that it is not charging or powering up. I checked the fuses and the are good l2 has continuity and em10 has a resistence of 2 ohms. when I conect the charger the orange light blinks but thats it
Have you checked the charger port on the PCB, reflow it and see if that helps. Check the battery too, what voltage is it? Has the DS been left with a dead battery for a while, may need to just boost it.. Plug DS in without battery and see if there is any current going to the battery terminals. Check Top and Bottom LCD ribbons, that can cause a boot fault too Some unlikely things.. Check wifi module, probably not the issue but reseat it. It may have a fuse so check that too I cant remember Check Power SW iirc those are pretty flimsy check PCB for corrosion/short Check both cart slots for shorts, the GBA port can easily get crud in it without the protector hope this helps, if you have a lab power supply with sense functions it would narrow it down easy haha but I doubt you do
Thank you guys for the advice I fixed the problem. I plugged and unplugged the ac adaptor a couple of times and the light stayed on and 30 minutes later it was fuuly working.
