    It really shouldn't. At least not due to use. If you start poking it too hard you could knock the screen out of alignment, but under normal wear and tear it should be good for a long time.

    I've got touchscreens dating back 15 years that still work great.

    If you are losing sensitivity, try going through the calibration process again.
